CAD 165 - Architectural Blueprint Reading (3 CR.)

Course Description

Emphasizes reading, understanding and interpreting standard types of architectural drawings including plans, elevation, sections and details. Lecture 2 hours. Laboratory 2 hours. Total 4 hours per week.

General Course Purpose

Develop and understanding of the graphic symbols and lines on architectural drawings.

Course Prerequisites/Corequisites

College level competencies in language and mathematics.

Course Objectives

The completion of the course will provide the student with the knowledge of the principles and practices of architectural working drawings. Skills in the reading of architectural working drawings are to be mastered.
