MTH 161聽-聽PreCalculus I (3 CR.)
Presents topics in power, polynomial, rational, exponential, and logarithmic functions, and systems of equations and inequalities. Credit will not be awarded for both MTH 161, and MTH 167 聽or equivalent. This is a Passport Transfer Course. Lecture 3 hours. Total 3 hours per week.
Prerequisite(s): Any eight MTE units 1-9; Prerequisite for MTH 161 with MDE 61 is any six MTE units 1-9, MDE 60 , or other placement methods.聽
