The Co-enrollment BSN Program (BCE) allows students to begin taking online classes toward a BSN degree while enrolled in the AAS-Nursing program at NVCC. Mason’s Co-enrollment nursing classes are online, offered in a seven-week format, and can be taken on a full-time or part-time basis.

Students can apply to the Co-enrollment program as early as their first semester of the AAS-Nursing program. Students can complete the Co-enrollment program one semester after earning their RN license at the earliest, but can take additional time if needed. A link with a list of courses for the Co-enrollment program, our Co-enrollment Information Session presentation, and a sample schedule for a student in the Co-enrollment program, is available here: https://nursing.gmu.edu/academics/bsn-programs/co-enrollment-bsn-program-non-veteran

Nursing prerequisites must be complete prior to admission to the Co-enrollment program. To minimize the time needed to earn the BSN, the Mason Core and elective requirements should be complete prior to starting the Co-enrollment program, but it is not required. After graduation from the AAS-Nursing program, students must complete any remaining Mason Core or elective courses at Mason.
